Privacy Policy — Batch Resize Images

Batch Resize Images is a Chrome extension that resizes images locally on the user's device. We respect your privacy and have designed the extension to collect as little information as possible.

1. What we collect

We do not collect, transmit, store on our servers, or share any personal data, images, file contents, or usage analytics. The extension does not contain any tracking, telemetry, or third-party analytics.

2. Local processing

All image processing happens entirely inside your browser. The images you add to the extension never leave your device. They are not uploaded to any server.

3. Local storage

The extension uses Chrome's local storage (chrome.storage) to remember your preferences (target dimensions, fit/crop mode, output format, quality, file naming pattern) so you do not have to reconfigure them every session. This data is stored only on your device and is not transmitted anywhere.

4. Permissions

• sidePanel — to render the extension's user interface in the Chrome Side Panel.
• storage — to persist your settings locally between sessions.
• downloads — to save the processed images (or the resulting ZIP archive) to your Downloads folder.

5. Third parties

The extension does not communicate with any third-party services and does not include any third-party tracking, advertising, or analytics SDKs.

6. Children

The extension is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

7. Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published at this URL with a new "Last updated" date.
